Availability
We work hard to ensure that our website is accurate in terms of prices, product descriptions, stock and services. Any errors displayed are wholly unintentional and we reserve the right to amend any information affected by this. We reserve the right to alter the website at any time without notice or warning. We take no responsibility for colours of products not matching the colour displayed on your screen as this is dependent on colour reproduction and screen capabilities. Occasionally, items may appear advertised as ‘in stock’ on our website however on a rare occasion they may no longer be available. In the unlikely event of an item ordered being out of stock, we will cancel your order, issuing a full refund and email you separately.
Delivery
We are delighted to offer a fully-insured and tracked UK delivery service for our items which must be signed for upon delivery. At this point the item(s) become the property of the purchaser and our insurance no longer applies. Please be satisfied that the parcel has in no way been tampered with in transit before accepting delivery. If you have specified a recipient who is not yourself for delivery purposes, such as for a gift, then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by us, Hatton Jewels. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only. For items to be delivered outside of the UK, please contact us and we can discuss appropriate arrangements as additional delivery charges and adjusted time frame may apply. Any import duties or taxes charged in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.
Hatton Jewels are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. We understand buying jewellery is an important purchase so we want you to be rest assured that if you choose to purchase a product on our website, it will be beautifully packaged with our upmost care and attention.
Your purchase will be sent in discreet and secure packaging with no reference to Hatton Jewels to ensure surprises aren’t compromised in any way.
We will always strive to ensure your items arrive with you on time, however, there may be unavoidable delays through the postal service which are beyond our control of which Hatton Jewels shall not be liable for. We will always do our best to notify you of any potential delay.
Please note that for your own security, items can only be delivered to the credit/debit cards billing address provided and every item must be signed for on delivery. It may be possible to make special arrangements on request.
Sending items to Hatton Jewels
For your own protection, you are strongly advised to obtain a proof of posting, or shipping certificate from a courier, when sending any goods to Hatton Jewels. Goods which are shipped to Hatton Jewels until received and signed for at our 5 Hatton Place, London, EC1N 8RU address remain your responsibility. A proof of posting will assist you in tracking any shipment which is reported as lost, damaged, mislaid or otherwise undelivered/undeliverable.
It is the customers’ responsibility to arrange secure postage via their chosen means, the cost of which is to be met by the customer and will remain the customers responsibility to adequately insure the items during transit.
When sending any items to Hatton Jewels, address your package to Hatton J Ltd, 5 Hatton Place, London, EC1N 8RU. For security reasons please do not write ‘Jewels’ anywhere on the outside of the package.
Cancellations, Exchange & Refunds
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order placed online at Hatton Jewels please phone us on 0203 116 0069. Please note that orders cannot be cancelled after they have been dispatched. Any existing order that is in production may be subject to charges if cancellation is agreed and the deposit used to cover any materials and workshop costs already incurred. If your order has been dispatched, we are unable to redirect it, so please follow our returns instructions in the 'Returns’ section upon receipt.
Returns
We are confident you will be delighted with your Hatton Jewels purchase. However, you do have the option of returning items to us within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange if you decide that the item is not right for you or the goods are faulty. We regret that we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on goods that have been worn, damaged or have had any alterations by ourselves or a third party. For health and hygiene reasons we regret that all pierced fittings are non-returnable unless faulty. We do not refund or exchange bespoke items or items made to order, however we strive for happy customers and where possible we will always try to offer an exchange, which is something we will happily to discuss with you prior to an order being placed.
Returned items can only be accepted if they are:
-In the same condition they were received
-With all original paperwork and documents
-In the original packaging

Returns - Preowned Jewellery
We are confident you will be delighted with your Hatton Jewels purchase. However, you do have the option of returning items to us within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange if you decide that the item is not right for you or the goods are faulty or not as described. We regret that we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on pre-owned goods that have had tamperproof packaging removed, the item is damaged through wear or you have had any alterations by ourselves or a third party. For health and hygiene reasons we can only accept returns of pre-owned earrings that have been unworn with tamper proof packing still intact. We strive for happy customers and where possible we will always try to offer an exchange, which is something we will happily to discuss with you prior to an order being placed. Returned items can only be accepted if they are:
- In the same condition they were received with tamper proof labels still attached
- With all original paperwork and documents
- In all the original packaging
- The item has not been exposed to treatments or chemicals
- The item has not had any damage as a result of mishandling or inappropriate impact, such as knocks, dents or pressure.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund in situations including but not limited to: - Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error - Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

All pre-owned items are checked for their condition and any restoration work required to ensure each piece is fit for purpose. As the items we sell as part of this collection have previously been worn we carry out any required work to restore the item as close to new condition as possible, this may not be possible for all signed pieces and the condition will be clearly stated prior to purchase.
Aftersales
Lifetime Warranty
All Hatton Jewels pieces come complete with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty that covers any manufacturing defects and any subsequent repairs required from any defect. This work will be conducted free of charge with proof of purchase under the following terms and conditions:
- The item is identified by our elected independent workshop as being faulty due to manufacture defects
- The item has not had any damage as a result of mishandling or inappropriate impact, such as knocks, dents or pressure.
- The item has had no alteration, manipulation, repair or care by a third party service provider
- The item has not been exposed to treatments or chemicals
- The item has not been purchased as an antique piece, pre-owned item or signed jewellery.
- The item has not been made using only materials provided by the customer for manufacture
If an item purchased from Hatton Jewels is not covered by our warranty, we endeavour to resolve any repair work or alterations at the lowest price possible.
Resizing & Alterations
We offer a complimentary ring sizing on rings that are purchased from Hatton Jewels, within the 30 days of purchase. The complimentary resizing is available on rings ordered where the ring size is unknown or where a ring size has not been confirmed by one of our experienced team members. Rings can only be sized three sizes either way from the original size for free. A resize outside of this range will incur a charge. Unfortunately, due to the nature of full eternity rings, they are exempt from our complimentary resizing policy.
Please note that after a ring has been resized, it is ineligible for a refund or exchange.
After your first free resizing, any further resizes will incur a charge.
Any engraving in a ring may be compromised in the re-sizing process, so the customer may incur a re-engraving charge.
General
We cannot be held responsible for any items that remain un-collected for longer than three months without prior arrangement. Items may subject to sale in order to re-coupe any outstanding charges for works carried out.
All new jewellery items created by Hatton Jewels are crafted to the highest standards, using premium materials and expert craftsmanship. To preserve the beauty and integrity of your piece, we recommend following our Jewellery Care Guide. It should be noted that whilst some items may be described as suitable for everyday wear, this does not include activities such as exercising at the gym, cleaning, swimming, or other tasks that may expose your jewellery to unnecessary wear or damage. Proper care ensures your jewellery remains in excellent condition, is worn safely for its intended purpose, and can be enjoyed for many years to come.
All subjects covered in the above Terms and Conditions and Delivery and Returns policy do not affect your statutory rights.
