A Timeless Treasure: Rare French Edwardian Diamond Necklace That Transforms into a Tiara

Specialising in the acquisition and rehoming of rare treasures, we are proud to share our exquisite Edwardian Diamond necklace. This remarkable and versatile piece can elegantly transform into a stunning tiara or Diadem.

A diadem is a type of crown or tiara, which has been historically worn by monarchs and nobility as a symbol of royal authority. Over time, tiaras came to represent aristocratic wealth and status, serving not only as elegant adornments but also as cherished heirlooms passed down through generations.

Today, the tradition remains vibrant, with tiaras gracing royal evening attire, as well as brides on their wedding day.

Depending on the design, some tiara can be worn in many ways, with some even able to be disassembled into separate pieces like brooches, necklaces, or hair pins, allowing for versatility across different occasions and looks; particularly older, antique tiaras often have this feature; which is the case for this particular item where is featured removable components, where it has pieces that can be worn separately.

This exquisite piece (pictured above), is an antique French Edwardian Diamond necklace crafted by B. Noury of Paris. The Centre boasts  an old-cut Diamond weighing approximately 2 carats, beautifully set into platinum, accompanied by its original box and fittings.  Thanks to its detachable components, it can be transformed into a variety of versatile pieces, including hairpins, a necklace, or even a regal crown.
