The 2024 Venice Film Festival kicked off in style Wednesday night with Tim Burton's highly anticipated sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, making a bold, gothic entrance. The long awaited Tim Burton film officially kicks off the 81st annual Venice Film Festival, with hundreds of fans gathering outside the Sala Grande Theatre on the Lido.
The film's premiere was met with a three-minute standing ovation, setting the tone for an unforgettable festival. Tim Burton and his cast - Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, and Jenna Ortega took a gracious bow and soaked up the applause.
