What is your main role within Hatton Jewels?
As Head of Marketing and Social Media at Hatton Jewels, I oversee the day-to-day execution and large-scale delivery of all marketing initiatives. I research, develop, and implement strategic marketing campaigns designed to strengthen brand awareness and drive engagement across all platforms, including social media, email marketing, and our website. My overarching goal is to build and nurture strong client relationships while continually enhancing the customer journey.
I plan, create, and manage our social media content, closely monitoring trends and performance analytics to ensure consistency, relevance, and ongoing growth in brand visibility across every marketing touchpoint.
In addition, I lead our email marketing strategy, crafting targeted communications that keep our audience informed about new collections, industry insights, and exclusive offers.
A key part of my role also involves overseeing the ongoing development of our website, with a strong focus on ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for our customers. I manage the process of photographing and uploading new pieces, designing and refining site pages, and working closely with all the team to continuously optimise functionality and performance.
My overall aim is to ensure the marketing efforts, not only reflects the Hatton Jewels brand but also provides an engaging, effortless journey with us.
What is the most interesting thing you have learnt about jewellery so far?
Where do I start? Every day is a learning experience, revealing the intricate details that go into creating a single piece of jewellery. This complexity is what makes jewellery so special and such an essential part of personal expression.
One of the aspects of jewellery that interests me the most is Diamonds, when I first joined Hatton Jewels, I had no idea how unique each diamond could be. Each one has its own history and story, which I find incredibly fascinating. It's wonderful to see that there is a perfect fit for everyone, catering to diverse styles and preferences.
What is the content creation you most enjoy working on?
Working with jewellery offers a vast array of creative opportunities. I enjoy showcasing our stunning pieces, providing behind-the-scenes glimpses into our process, and producing informative content. The jewellery industry holds many secrets to those outside of it, and I find it incredibly rewarding to share insights into that world. Creating video content is particularly enjoyable for me, as it allows our audience to fully appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of each piece.
Beyond the social aspect of content creation, I also really enjoy the work involved in optimising and updating our website. This includes everything from researching and designing new pages, capturing the imagery, writing engaging content, and crafting layouts that best highlight our jewellery, to refining and enhancing existing pages.
What is my personal style of jewellery?
I’m lucky, as one of the first people to see our new stock, I’m always getting a look at our new in pieces from our bespoke creations to gorgeous statement pieces to the branded items we add to our pre-owned collection, I get to see it all. Personally I’m a yellow gold girl, I just think it’s a warming colour and shows off beautifully any gemstones, emeralds are probably my favourite gemstone closely followed by my new found love of Old Cut Diamonds. I love a chunky gold design, we have a gorgeous pair of Diamond and yellow gold earrings that are definitely on my wish list.
What are some of your other passions in life?
Being active is a huge passion of mine, especially in the form of running and yoga! Having completed multiple charity runs and a half marathons, I love the challenge and the sense of community that comes with running.
As a coffee and pastry lover, you will often find me exploring and discovering new coffee shops in my spare time, especially in the sunny weather and they are a great destination to end a good run. My other passions include getting creative with painting, candle making and photography.
